Displays FORD 6' Accessories Video Merchandiser Ford Motor Co. challenged Chicago Show to come up with an exciting and innovative new Accessories Display for their Ford, Lincoln and Lincoln-Mercury dealers. Chicago Show's design team developed a large and small merchandising fixture that would accommodate the various sized dealerships in their nationwide network. We designed many of the components to be inter-changeable from one fixture to another to gain cost saving economies of scale and assembly efficiencies. Ford wanted a permanent fixture that would last for several years in their dealerships, as well as being easily updated with new accessories, copy and graphics to keep the fixtures looking relevant and interesting to the showroom customer. Ford also wanted to support their dealers with a fixture that is a powerful selling tool that offers utilitarian function and helps add intrinsic value to the vehicle sale by promoting accessory sales that add margin to each transaction. This 6' merchandising fixture includes a 19" touch-screen monitor that is programmed to default to the Ford Accessories website, where the salesperson and the customer can go on-line in the showroom and add accessories during the selling process. After the salesperson selects the vehicle of interest at the website, the customer can add accessories to the vehicle to be purchased and see what each item will add to their monthly payment. When no one interacts with the fixture for several minutes, commercial loops play exciting videos that attract and stimulate customer interest. This display fixture is approximately 4' wide x 6' high x 3' deep, and features 4 high end custom wheels. New graphic panels and acrylic discs that feature the various vehicle accessory items available are all easily updated and/or changed out. This fixture provides a platform for the dealers to offer and sell accessories in their showrooms that were previously sold through third party manufacturers and retailers, making the Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealer network a more attractive new car and truck alternative than their competitors. >>E-mail your questions >> Return to Displays |
