Displays Ford Motor Co. Automotive Filters Display "Before and After" Filter Display The Ford Motor Co. asked Chicago Show to work with them on the development of a visually and graphically compelling display, that would help the Customer Service Representative (CSR) explain the advantages of changing dirty Air, Fuel and Cabin Filters at regularly scheduled maintenance intervals. Chicago Show printed and vacuum-formed "Cut-away" replicas of actually dirty and clean filters, to help the CSR graphically present and describe the effects and damage dirty filters can do to a customer's vehicle, including reduced gas mileage per gallon and excessive engine wear. The CSR can use the printed descriptions on each panel as a point-by-point outline in explaining the reasons and necessity of this routine engine maintenance program. The "before and after" portrayals of the filters helps visually sell the customer and provides positive image enhancement of the dealer in the customer's eyes. This type of Service Department Program helps the dealership maintain repeat service visits to the authorized Ford dealer, instead of an independent mechanic. This merchandising program also helps the dealership present itself in a professional manner through its consistent message and presentation. Paper posters do not convey the look and image that will set the dealership apart as the only sensible location to perform service on your Ford vehicle. Ford and Chicago Show plan to promote other Dealer and Service Department products and services utilizing a similar presentation, in order to have a "family" look to all of the dealership signage and promotional pieces. This will help build on the powerful and instantly recognized FORD logo, which conveys the quality and dependability of a Ford vehicle. A consistent look throughout the dealership also supports the customers' belief and perception that their vehicle will enjoy a longer life if a routine maintenance schedule is followed and the service work is performed at an authorized Ford dealer. >>E-mail your questions >> Return to Displays |
