"Belt Trouble- Shooting Display"
The Gates Corporation was looking for a way to help increase the sales of belt products in auto parts and service facilities. This is not a product that most car and truck owners are familiar with, so Gates wanted to have a display that would help the automotive technician show and explain the problems that belt wear can cause to their service customers.
Chicago show worked with The Gates Corporation to develop a graphically descriptive, tactile, interactive display showing various wear conditions that occur to automotive belts over time, during vehicle operation. These displays have flexible placement capabilities by being designed for use as counter or wall mount units. Changeable graphics were employed to accommodate different retail and service operations, as well as different languages. Literature pockets were provided with flexible right/left mounting capabilities.
The displays are injection molded plastic, graphics are litho printed on styrene plastic. Units are partially assembled and shipped flat to allow for freight savings.
