RCA introduced two new products in the DVD player category and was looking for a way to effectively display live, working product on end cap units in Best Buy Stores.
Chicago Show worked with RCA to design a display system that provided wired mounts for both portable and home DVD players. One of the display requirements was to have both players secured to prevent theft and allow for continuous operation. Chicago Show also needed to allow space to merchandise product on the end cap and have the capability to merchandise AR audio/video cable products.
The displays attach to the end cap grid, which is then covered with a backdrop graphic, to provide strong visual impact across the store. Packaging and display colors were coordinated with the bright green display components to give an overall look of continuity to the display area. Construction materials consisted of metal tube, sheet metal, wire, flexed styrene graphics and custom powder coated peg hooks. Backdrop graphics are screen printed on styrene plastic.
